The LCO Little League team came from behind to narrowly defeat Winter on Thursday, May 30, to improve their record to 3-2. Coach George Taylor, Jr said LCO was down 5 to 0 and came back in exciting game to win 6-5.
"The kids rallied back and won and defense was the big factor," Taylor said. "The kids all came together and got the big Win! This is the whole reason I coach, to see them smiling faces."
Taylor said he was proud of the kids and everyone was happy.
The team consists of Micah Taylor, Blake Trepania, Sean Beaulieu, Bradley Young, George Taylor, Taysa Katcher, Brendan Young, Mikey Quaderer, Junior Heipel, JJ Morey, Sierra Stojek, McKayl Taylor, Owen Boswell, Lilly Wooten, Ryot Katcher, Jazmine Wooten, John Peterson, Bradley Trepania and Braden Young.
Coach Taylor reminds everyone to come down to Birchwood Tuesday night at 6:30 as LCO goes for another win.
