LCO School says goodbye to Budman

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe school said gigawaabamin ‘see you again’ to Mr. George Morrow this week as he changes career paths. Morrow, known as Budman, is a long-time teacher at the school.

Students and staff were led in prayer by freshman Little Bird Benton. George was gifted with a handmade quilt signed by students and staff and an honor song was performed by the migiziwag school drum.

“I want to thank everyone from the school for all the great memories! I'm going to miss all the students and staff. It's truly been an honor working with so many amazing people,” Morrow said.

Good luck Budman, you will be greatly missed!
