Memorial Day Event at Kinnamon Recognizes LCO Purple Heart Recipients

A special ceremony was held at the Kinnamon Museum on Memorial Day to honor LCO’s own Purple Heart recipients. The recipients were recognized for their sacrifice. The ceremony saw family and friends share their stories about the recipients.

LCO TGB member Michelle Beaudin shared in a post on Facebook a thank you to those who organized or were involved in the event. They included Rusty Barber, Gary Quaderer Sr, Bay Quaderer, Leslie Ramscyk, Vern Martin, Faith Smith, AMVETS, Badger singers, Stephanie St. Germaine, all the speakers, as well as all the honorees and their families.

“It was a beautiful ceremony and we have so much to be thankful to the people and their families for their sacrifices. Let us remember them and these sacrifices they made to protect us,” Beaudin said.
