The LCO Fire Dept. held a dedication ceremony of the new fire hall to Mahlon Nickence, May 8 at 2:00 pm, located on Round Lake School House Rd. Mahlon was the long-time fire chief at LCO and the former Fire Hall was named after him.
Dr. Mike Sullivan came in and did the Ceremony, blessing of the feather, also sang a couple songs. There was a great turnout from the community. The ceremony had lots of food, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. CONGRATES to CAROL DEBROT the winner of the 50/50. Any one that wants to come in for a tour, please feel free to stop by the fire hall, 8 AM to 4 PM.
