CARES Act Distribution Coordinator Becky Taylor announces that all the checks for children approved in the CARES Act financial distribution of $500 per LCO enrolled child under 18 years of age will be distributed after the Sept 8 deadline for enrollment.
It was recently announced that tribal members children who weren't enrolled would be allowed to get enrolled up to Sept. 8 and that would qualify these children for the payment. Taylor said immediately after the deadline, the checks would be sent out. She said all checks are ready to be sent out.
Taylor said there will be no distribution of checks at the tribal office. The only way would be through the mail.
