This is to inform you that we received notification that an Early Head Start teacher has tested positive for COVID-19. Notification of a positive case has been shared with public health and our local tribal health center. Contact tracing will be conducted by the Sawyer County Health Department, anyone who is a close contact of the positive case will be notified directly.
As a precautionary measure to insure the safety and well-being of the children, their families, and our staff families, we will be closing the Head Start/Early Head Start for the next two weeks. We hope this will help keep our families safe.
We will update families when we plan to continue with food bundles and homework packets during the closing.
