The following was a post on Facebook made by Guy Houston on the group Forgotten Wisconsin. Guy posts many historical photos on Facebook.
Guy Houston posted, "I have a pretty big collection of postcards relating to Sawyer County, Wisconsin. A few years ago I had the chance to buy these postcards. The images were crisp and clear and early. They were rather expensive, but I knew they needed to come back home to Sawyer County, so I bought them.
"These next eight postcards are the work of Herbert H Dennison. He was a photographer from Barron County, Wisconsin. And in my humble opinion, he took some of the best early shots of Reserve, Wisconsin. He had a photography shop in Barron, from about 1902 into the 1940s.
"Here are some just fabulous Native American photos from the 1920s or possibly a little earlier. Some wonderful early images on Reserve Wisconsin, enjoy!"
