Students with Perfect Attendance Recognized

On Tuesday, a luncheon was held at the Sevenwinds Casino Buffet to honor 13 LCO Ojibwe School Students who had perfect attendance for the first semester of this school year.


The LCO Tribal Governing Board at its Monday, Feb. 25, meeting, unanimously approved transferring $850 from the LCO Youth and Education Scholarship Fund for the Perfect Attendance recognition.


Each student with perfect attendance received a $50 gift card.


The LCO Youth & Education Golf Classic Tournament is held annually the first Saturday in June, which raises money for scholarships and other youth activities and recognitions such as this luncheon.


The following students had perfect attendance for the first semester at the Lac Courte Oreilles School.


Elementary; Brandon Froemel, Kindergarten, Alan Hanlon-LaRush, 2nd grade, Viola Fear, 4th grade, Kaleb Rice, 4th grade.


Middle School; MeShane Nickence, 6th grade, Nicholas Trotterchaude, 6th grade, Thomas White, 6th grade, Davien Belille, 7th grade, Jaiden Quaderer, 7th grade, Charles Wade-Smith, 7th grade, Lareina Clause, 8th grade.


High School; Josephine Bunker, 9th grade, Ronald Bunker, 11th grade.
