The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board (TGB) has elected to provide a COVID-19 Family Economic Support Payment to LCO Tribal Member households located within the Tribe's Service Area (Sawyer County). This Economic Support Payment is intended to assist with heating, electric, and internet costs. The TGB recognizes that Tribal Member households have experienced higher energy costs due to following the multiple TGB Resolutions mandating Tribal Members to remain safer at home. The TGB finds that these costs are necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID- 19).
The Economic Support Payment will be made directly to the vendor(s) of your choice and is limited to one benefit per Tribal Member household. Multiple applications for one household will not be accepted and will delay your economic support payment.
You must complete and return the application pictured below before December 1, 2020 to the Tribal Office Receptionist or fax it to Attn: Cindy Miller at 715-634-4797. You may also email it to Cindy Miller at cynthia.miller@lco-nsn.gov.
