TGB Expands Tribal Communications with Addition of New Public Relations Specialist

By Joe Morey News Editor

The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe has welcomed Jennifer Cadotte to its Public Relations team, marking an exciting transition for the longtime Grants Department professional. Cadotte, a member of the Wolf Clan from the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) reservation, steps into the role of Public Relations Specialist with a strong commitment to keeping the community informed.

“I am excited to announce acceptance of a new role working with the LCO Tribe’s Public Relations team as a Public Relations Specialist,” said Cadotte. “This role will be responsible for bringing news and information to the community in a timely, unbiased, and factual manner.”

In her new position, Cadotte will oversee communications for the tribe, ensuring community members stay updated on key developments. One of her first priorities is enhancing the tribe’s website, www.lco-nsn.gov, by adding new content such as news from the Elders, a Community Events Calendar, and other important updates. Additionally, she will continue to share announcements through the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Facebook page, which can be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/lcotribe.

Cadotte will also collaborate with the current news department to provide content on behalf of the Tribal Government and other entities. This content will be distributed through various channels, including the tribal newsletter, newspaper, and the LCO Tribe’s news page at lcotribe.com/all-news. By working closely with existing media resources, she aims to strengthen information-sharing efforts across the community.

Cadotte’s transition is a bittersweet moment for the Grants Department, where she has played an integral role for over five years. Jordan St. Germaine, Director of the Grants Department, expressed both gratitude and excitement for Cadotte’s new journey.

“As many of you may know, we have a bittersweet change in the Planning and Grants Department,” St. Germaine shared. “Jen Cadotte has made the exciting move from our department to join the Public Relations team here at Lac Courte Oreilles. While we’re definitely going to miss her in the Grants Department, we’re excited about the new opportunities this brings for both Jen and our community.”

St. Germaine praised Cadotte’s dedication and contributions, noting her unwavering support for grant writers, grant managers, and the community.

“Over the past 5+ years, Jen has been incredibly supportive to grant writers, grant managers, and the community, and we are so grateful for all she’s done. Though we’re sad to see her go, we know she’s going to do amazing things in her new role.”

For those who need to reach out to Cadotte with news or announcements, she can be contacted at publicrelations@lco-nsn.gov. Meanwhile, any grant-related inquiries can be directed to grantsdept@lco-nsn.gov, where the team will ensure messages reach the right person.

The LCO Tribe extends its best wishes to Cadotte as she embarks on this new chapter, confident that her efforts will bring valuable information and engagement to the community.
