Tribe Hires Tribal Lending Authority Regulator

The LCO Tribal Governing Board officially hired Patricia Harrington on Monday, April 29, as the Tribal Lending Authority Regulator, a position which represents the TGB in supervising the activities of the tribe’s lending operation, LCO Financial Services.


Harringon’s office will be located at the Gaming Commission offices next to the LCO Police Department. She will report directly to the LCO Financial Services Board of Directors and LCO TGB liaison and chairman of the board, Tweed Shuman.


“This is a very important role and we welcome her aboard,” LCO Chairman Louis Taylor said.


In her position she will monitor the regulatory processes of the lending business. Her job description stated she will supervise activities of the lending operation and its service providers to make sure they are in compliance and to promulgate rules, regulations, policies and guidelines as needed to implement provisions of the Tribal Lending Code.
